Quality & Customer Commitment

Clear requirements, appropriate workmanship and accountable communication throughout each assignment.

Effective 20 September 2026

Understand and agree the requirement

WAB Engineering is committed to delivering work against clearly agreed requirements. Before accepting an assignment, we will clarify the customer's needs, the condition and intended use of relevant equipment, the scope, specifications, responsibilities and acceptance arrangements. We will explain material assumptions, exclusions and limitations. Commitments on price, timing and any warranty must be stated in the applicable quotation or agreement.

Plan work and manage changes

Management will assign suitable competence, supervision and resources to the agreed work. Relevant technical information, instructions and inspection needs must be considered before work begins. Changes affecting scope, materials, specifications, cost or timing must be explained and agreed with the customer before proceeding. Where an urgent safety concern arises, work must be made safe and the customer informed.

Use appropriate parts and methods

Parts and materials must be suitable for the agreed application and checked against the specified requirements. We will represent their source, condition and specification accurately. Substitutions require the customer's agreement where they affect the agreed requirements. We will not knowingly supply counterfeit parts or describe a part as original, certified or manufacturer-approved without supporting evidence. Manufacturing and repair methods must respect the relevant specifications and safety requirements.

Check and hand over the work

We will carry out appropriate checks before release, record significant findings and communicate unresolved limitations. Checks must reflect the agreed scope and the available technical information. Handover information will identify the work performed, relevant parts supplied, any agreed test results and necessary operating or follow-up advice. Customer drawings, equipment information and other confidential technical material must be protected and used only for authorised purposes.

Resolve concerns and improve

Customers may raise quality concerns with their WAB contact or management. We will record the issue, assess it fairly, communicate the proposed response and agree appropriate action within the applicable contract and legal requirements. We will review causes and check corrective actions where a problem is identified. Management will review feedback and this policy at least annually. Public claims about our work, qualifications and certifications must be accurate and supported.
