Scope and accountability

WAB Engineering, Burri Al Daraisa, Khartoum, Sudan, is responsible for personal information received through its website, correspondence and business activities. This policy covers customers, suppliers, workers, trainees and other business contacts.

Information and its use

Records may include names, contact and organisation details, enquiries, correspondence and information needed for services or employment. Website security records may include IP addresses, access times and browser details.

We use only relevant information to respond, deliver services, manage relationships, protect systems and meet applicable obligations. Personal information must not be sold or used for unrelated marketing. Where consent is required, it must be specific and can be withdrawn.

Access and service providers

Access is limited to authorised people and service providers who need it. Hostinger is our selected hosting provider. Hosting and email arrangements must include appropriate safeguards, with processing locations and transfer requirements reviewed.

Disclosure may be necessary to meet legal obligations or protect legal rights. Sharing must remain proportionate. When you use WhatsApp or another external service, its provider’s privacy terms also apply.

Retention, security and website technologies

We retain information only as long as needed, considering the enquiry or relationship, service and warranty requirements, legal recordkeeping duties, complaints and claims. Information no longer needed must be securely deleted or anonymised.

Appropriate access controls, secure handling and incident response must protect information. Suspected loss, misuse or unauthorised disclosure must be reviewed and addressed. Optional analytics or marketing technologies require clear information and any consent required by applicable law.

We handle requests in accordance with applicable law and may need to verify your identity. Please include enough detail to identify your request, without unnecessary sensitive information. If we cannot fulfil your request, we will explain why.
